Aluminum curtain wall has unique texture, rich color and lasting, and the appearance shape can be diversified, and can be combined with glass curtain wall materials and stone curtain wall materials. Its appearance, excellent quality, so that it is favored by the owners, its light weight, only the 1/5 of marble, is the 1/3 of glass curtain wall, greatly reducing the load of building structure and foundation, and low maintenance cost, high performance price ratio.
As far as the aluminum curtain wall currently used in China is concerned, most of them are composite aluminum plates and aluminum alloy veneer.
The composite aluminum plate is formed by rolling and heat sealing of polyethylene (PE or polyvinyl chloride PVC) with a thickness of 3-4mm between the inner and outer layers of 0.5mm pure aluminum plates (0.2-0.25mm for indoor use) and a flat plate of a certain specification, such as 1220mm × 2440mm. The fluorocarbon paint on the surface of the composite aluminum plate for external use is also completed by roller coating, roller pressing and heat sealing. The thickness of the coating is generally about 20 μm. The advantages of the composite aluminum plate are light weight, smooth surface, good flatness, no color difference in the same direction, and on-site processability, which provides conditions for dealing with the dimensional changes of the external wall caused by on-site construction errors, reducing the workshop processing cycle and shortening the installation period.
The composite aluminum plate should be processed into wallboard during installation. First of all, the plate should be cut according to the size of the secondary design. When cutting the plate, the size of folding and placing should be taken into account. Generally, about 30mm is added on each side. According to the introduction of curtain wall installation company, the yield of cutting plate is generally 60% ~ 70%. The cut composite plate needs four-sided gouging, I .e. cutting off the inner aluminum plate and plastic layer with a certain width, leaving only the outer aluminum plate with a thickness of 0 .5mm, then folding it into a 90-degree male angle, then making a frame of the same size with aluminum profile, placing it in the bent groove of aluminum-plastic plate, bonding the bottom surface of the frame with structural glue to the back of the aluminum-plastic plate, and fixing the folded four sides with riveting, in general, there are reinforcing ribs in the middle of the frame to ensure the mechanical strength of the wallboard. The reinforcing ribs are made of aluminum and bonded with structural adhesive. Some informal practices only add angle aluminum to the four corners of the composite board to fix them. The reinforcing ribs are bonded with double-sided adhesive tape, which greatly reduces their firmness.
Aluminum alloy veneer is generally 2~4mm aluminum alloy plate, in the production of wallboard, first according to the requirements of the secondary design of sheet metal processing, direct folding, four corners by high pressure welding into a tight groove shape, the back of the wallboard with electric welding nail to reserve the reinforcement of the fixing bolts. After the completion of the sheet metal work, and then the fluorocarbon paint spraying, generally have two coating three coating, the film thickness of 30 ~ 40μm. The aluminum alloy veneer is easy to be processed into arc-shaped and folded edges or acute angles, which can adapt to the needs of the ever-changing exterior wall decoration, and is rich in color. It can be selected according to the design and the requirements of the owner, which broadens the design space of architects in a sense.
